The Retirement of a legend...

I have been thinking about this for some time...

I at a loss of how to explain this to my you all,my friends,my clan mates...I have played this game from the start and honestly i thought i was going to be here when the end came.But in this last year,i have loss my desire.It is not fun anymore,Every Frakin time i get on.It is always something.I grow tired of the BS...

I have flown against the best,and beat them,i was number one on the Assault board for two years,JSA Dominated this game for two years,and to this DAY is undefeated in Space.My Clan is a legend,I am a legend in space.I am the Last of the founders,I am the last original JSA...

I will retire on the day i started playing this game,one week after Christmas.I am considering one more season,i am not sure yet.If i do,i will play for one more year.But i will only stay if i can truly put myself in the game and give it the time it needs.I feel that the clan is in the shape it is now because i can not be here as much as i am needed,and for that i am sorry...

When i do retire,i am not sure what i will do with the clan,if i retire the clan as well,i will make sure you all know,and i will help you to find a new home should you like...

I hope you all know how much this really gets to me to even think this yet alone say it.It really gets to me...

Well X i dont know what to say other than its your choice you have and will continue to be a great leader for sure i will stay in jsa till it dies Im not going to try to lure you back with pretty words because i understand that family and other things come first and about the bs i wish there was a way i could help about it so you may be able to stay and have fun with us somemore

If you chose to disband JSA when you retire then so be it. Personally I think that it may be for the best due to recent happenings so it doesnt fall to shambles but its up to you.

X , gotta say you are/were one of the few best in space... and not too bad on the ground

I may have not lead any clan in my carrer but I get what u mean by BS. (Thats the reason why I stopped playing for about 3, 2, and then 4 months throughout the past 2 years). You should do as you wish at the moment. I'm positive that if you do retire, in a couple of month you'll be back... at least for a while.

Jose, if you read the post we still have a few months and things can change.

An understandable disigon but even tho im still currently annoyed by the other night I dont want to see you go. I enjoy playing with you and fighting beside you. This place is old and hard up for good members of decent stock but you shouldn't just leave. Why not just lock JSA down make it go sleeper and repair it. Make it sleep for a few and find your new CCLs (I have recommendations) and officers and then reopen after some repair time. Then you come back with a crack team of CCLs and kick ass in the ladders then go on recruiting new blood. Tho if you have lost intrist in the game maybe you just need something to rekindle your love for it. Maybe set some times for you to sit down with your clan and talk to them and share ideas so you dont have to worry bout it on your own (tho there are others who are concerned). Try just playing not as X the CL of JSA and 1 man Squdrin in space. But try playing as X the newbi who there jsut to have fun. If that dosnt rekindle your love for the game then im not sure what will. But so you know If you go I have foresight enough to see that this place will follow disbanded by design or no. X I dont want to see you go man. So figure out how to find the love in the game again.

You may think this is IcyMetal...but its actually Gienkel using his name...hey X, I just want to let you know that if anything happens...just blame the noobs, it always works for me...not really but that would be so cool if it did, right ? Although in this case I really do blame the noobs, your an awesome pilot...and that is the place I need practice the most in...if you've seen me fly you know that's true and lets face it, I need all the help I can get. But there are others in JSA that can help me in that area. Anyway I got off track, I support you all the way. Sometimes it's better to just let others continue what you've started. Don't get me wrong I think you should still get on every now and then to talk and all that but hey, you should do what you need to do at this point. Oh and always remember this...you've got friends online and offline that care about you...so take care.

X, there have been those moments where I haven't agreed with you and the others where I was just at a loss. But, just b/c some ppl don't want to show the respect, honor, and loyalty it takes to be in a clan like JSA, doesn't mean you have to leave. We all have our diffrences, it's what makes us good b/c we have many views on many things. JSA without X isn't much of anything but a bunch of letters and SWBF2 without JSA isn't much of a game. I've left this clan and I can say that as much as I felt I did it for the right reasons and I liked my own clan, a part of me would always be JSA. When I returned, I was happy even though I didn't want to see my clan go. I can understand the reasons and the thought process that has made you come to this idea but it's not worth it and you'll always want what's here back. My advice is to not do it, just point out the issues and we can all, as JSA, fix them.

Thats truly not the issue,simply put,i think am getting burnt out.Me thinks that kaito has a good point,i need to find my love for the game again...

I have just 2 quick points:
1. I think you are a great leader and and a great man
2. Follow your heart and don't let anything else influence your decisions.

I was honored being a part of your team, and if leaving is what makes you happy, do it. People can take care of your clan and your name. Don't let it make you miserable and don't let it get the best of you.

Do whatever you need X. Sometimes, a break is exactly what one needs. I have and always will enjoy the times in the JSA server with your presence, and the many other JSA I enjoy to play with. Hope to speak sometime again on the front X

Hey X man, sorry to hear ya even thinking about leaving the game. I know when your a leader it is alot of bull to deal with but don't let people take the fun out of gaming man. Take a break from the game and come back thats what I have been doing these past few months. Then when ya come back you can enjoy the game and how fun it was back when ya 1st started playing. You are a legend and good friend. You have my cell # man so give me a call and talk to me.

If I can give ya any advise on clan stuff from what I been through, the 1 thing that stands out is imaturity in members meaning kids under the age of 18. Not saying thier aren't kids that can be loyal to 1 clan but it is very rare. When I was in the question clan we never allowed anyone in the clan under 18 and if we did thier was a 30 to 60 day probationary period and they had to be mature and follow orders.

I hope that this helps ya re- think your wanting to retire from the game because it's people like you that make the game fun and enjoyable for everyone. Besides who else is going to chase me on the leader boards in space..lol.. Be seeing ya man.

JSA has really stopped take new members,with a few expection,got a 16 year age limit now.And JSa is going to slim down the roster starting this week,i want the best players i got and those who really want to play.I am trying to put together one more good team for this last season.

I was over whelmed by the people and pm's i got in regaurds to my retirement.Never knew i was that well liked and that so many would miss me.

GOR is very fortunate to have as many loyal Younger members as there are older. This is mainly because the immature ones that we DO get usually are either denied entry after a tryout that goes quite badly... or they end up leaving on their own during probation or kicked out because of what we will not tolerate.

Yes... GOR does consist of a lot of members that are 20+ years of age... 16 or 17 of the 33 currently active on PS2 to be honest fit that category. But all of our current members other than the 2 that are new recruits have been in the clan for at least 3 or 4 months if the minimum isn't more than that. We only recruit members who will be loyal, respectful, and mature players who won't piss all the clan members off with their attitude LOL, which is usually what we look for in tryouts anyway more so than playing ability. Because they CAN be trained .

You just can't let them get to you... especially the ones that aren't worth the trouble. As i said before, do whatever you need. Just don't let the actions of a few others bring you down.

X, i understand what you mean by "Lost your love" for the game. It happened to be a few weeks ago. And the Reason was, i was told i spend too much time on this game and computer, and i got really stressed because of that, and more members joining, etc. But the point is, Gaming is a fun thing, but in life, you have a family, and a job. My dad, about 6 years ago, he quit playing socom. He said it was hard to stop playing the game. But he wasn't in a clan, either. He plays every now and then. But the reason i "lost my hope" for this game, is i got banned from chillaxhut and official in the same week, that made me sad and i felt too sad to even turn on the ps2. But i think if you left, this whole Clan and Server would just fall apart. I dont want that to happen. Please Stay, X. I Will miss you.
